I received my bachelor's degree in French at the University of Houston, graduating with minors in business administration and biology. My long-term goal is to be a dentist. As a tutor, I've helped high school level students learn French culture and language, and I've judged French competitions as well. I love the French language and culture, and I enjoy sharing what I know with others to help them develop an appreciation of the subject as well. When it comes to biology, like most science subjects, students struggle because they don't have a fundamental understanding of the core concepts. I had these difficulties myself at one point, and once I realized how I needed to learn things, I was able to turn around. I want to provide the same kind of support for my students to help them work through learning obstacles and become successful in science courses. I can tutor algebra, biology, French, essays, English, and test preparation. When I free time, I like to read, travel, and study languages and cultures.
