Kent State University, Kent, OH - Physics (2007-2009) GPA: 3.5 Houston Community College - Mathematics and Natural Sciences (2015-currently attending) GPA: 3.91 I plan to attend a four year university to receive a bachelors degree and teacher certification next fall (2016). My predicted graduation year is 2017.

Experience

3 years of volunteer tutoring in high school. Tutoring subjects such as history, AP writing, English, Math (algebra 1 and 2, trigonometry), biology and any of the sciences. I would like to start tutoring to gain experience working with children and young adults to prepare myself for my future career. I am currently in school to obtain my teacher certification. I have been educated in all the general subjects at a university level as with the upper level mathematics and chemistry.

Hobbies

Currently, my hobbies are focused on school. When I am not studying I enjoy working out and playing roller derby. It is a great sport to play in that it has helped me stay fit not only physically but mentally.I also coach Junior Derby, which has helped me communicate better with children. Even though I am primarily a math and science major, I love military history. I will never pass up the chance to visit a museum or historical site.
