I have a bachelor's degree in Engineering Science with a minor in Mathematics from Trinity University. I am an especially adept tutor in Spanish because I am originally from Ecuador. I not only know how to navigate the ins and outs of real Spanish, I also know the ins and outs of learning a second language.The best quality I have as a tutor, however, is a passion for education. Education is full of challenges, and I truly care about helping students conquer those challenges with skill and confidence. Since no two students are perfectly alike in learning style, I do my best to discover how each of my students learns best. By getting to know them, I can find the methods and strategies that will work for them. After that, with some practice and effort, there's nothing to stop a student from improving as much as he or she wants! I am interested in working with students in the areas of Math, Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Spanish. For fun, I like reading novels, being outdoors, playing soccer, and sharing delicious food with the people I care about.
