I attend Olin College in Needham, MA. My major is in electrical and computer engineering. In the past, I have worked with elementary through high school level students in programs aimed at improving academic success and socialization. The subjects I specialize most in are mathematics and science, with an emphasis in Physics. I have dabbled in instructing test preparation skills and computer science as well. My interest lies in teaching people, as I feel it is my personal way to make a difference in the world. I hope to be an asset in at least one life. Effective teaching does not involve simply feeding material to accepting minds. As an instructor, I know the importance of information retention and will implement techniques to ensure long-term knowledge. Pointing out patterns and trends in topics and showing students how to decipher them will help with overall success. I am really into technology. I enjoy data science and learning machines; then, I like to figure out how to apply those concepts to other areas of my life. Additionally, I am a tuba player and I sing too! I also find video games to be a good source of entertainment and love a good television show.
