Experience
I graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas - Arlington, where I majored in Anthropology and minored in Biology. I am pursuing my graduate degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of Texas - Houston Medical School. Before going to the University of Texas - Arlington, I attended USC, which provided me an amazing study ethic that I continue to use in my practices. I am an experienced tutor. I have helped less fortunate children (kindergarten -7th grade), worked at a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) camp where I created interactive activities, and helped my mother with Algebra at the college level. Chemistry is the subject I enjoy tutoring the most, even though my passion is math. Chemistry is one of the fundamentals of science that helps us better appreciate the world and delve into it. I believe that learning really is an art form that cannot be taken away, and it should be taken as an adventure. I convey this to the students when I tutor, and I create an atmosphere of adventure for them. This makes it easier for them to absorb the material and understand it. I enjoy listening to poetry, perfect yoga (Siddhasana) poses, watching Netflix, and running. I am excited to help children delve into this amazing field of math and science.
