I have a master's degree in chemical engineering, and I'm originally from China. I learned English at a young age, and I've always enjoyed language learning. I've taught students both English and Chinese. I enjoy helping students learn about the Chinese language and culture. Friends that I've taught the Chinese language to say that I'm very knowledgeable and that my tutelage is fun. When I teach students Chinese, I explain the characters used in writing the language and give the back story of them. This knowledge of culture in history help students understand the language better. When I have free time, I like to jog and swim to stay healthy. I also like spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, and watching movies, but usually only do this on weekends to maintain an organized lifestyle.
