Graduated in 2006 with a degree in Early Education from Texas A&M University. While there I took a variety of classes that prepared me to be where I am today. I am a certified teacher in the state of Texas. I also have my ESL certification. Both certifications are current and used daily :)
Experience
I am a certified teacher who has taught in FBISD for eight years. My classroom experience started in the 2nd grade for two years. I have taught 1st grade for the past six years. I am also a certified ESL teacher. I have privately tutored for the past six years. I am able to meet at the public library or your house. My tutoring experience include: -incoming first graders in reading, phonics and math -current first graders in all subject areas -incoming second grader in reading and phonics review -current second grade student in math and reading -incoming 4th grader in writing -adults learning English Why tutor? I truly believe that the foundations are important and necessary for future achievement in all areas. I want to help create stronger learners and leaders.
