Experience
I am an experienced tutor who has lived in Spain, taught English, and spent a fair amount of time traveling. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and History from Texas State University and a Master of Arts in History from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I presently teach at St. John XXIII, and my focus is on Advanced Placement U.S. History and World Geography courses. Students looking for an effective tutor will definitely benefit from both my personal and professional experiences.I currently live in Houston, Texas. I've worked with students ranging from freshmen to seniors in high school, and I've assisted then in Spanish, Social Studies, AP U.S. History, World History, and English. Tutoring and teaching are experiences that I have enjoyed, and I am happy to have had an impact on my students' development. When not working (or even when I am), you can often find me with a cup of coffee in my hand. I enjoy reading, fishing, being a great husband, and caring for our dog and rabbit.
